How I Know Ann Widdecombe’s Murderer is White

Without reading any news story

I haven’t looked up the skin colour of the man who killed Ann Widdecombe.

I know he’s White though. I have no doubts about that.

How do I know the murderer wasn’t a person of colour without needing to read the story?

1- It’s not the only news story.

2- It’s not dominating X.

That’s all you need to know. If I’m wrong, feel free to let me know and I’ll retract and apologise. I’m confident that this won’t be needed.

And here’s what I can confidently claim:

3- There will be no debates about the inherent humanity of the murderer in the press.

4- There will be no debates about the crisis of white male violence in the UK.

5- No mob violence will be expected. The “protect our women and children” crowd won’t take to the streets.

If the person who murdered Ann Widdecombe was black or brown, or - God forbid - a foreigner, the opposite of all of the above would have already happened within 24h of her death. Guaranteed.
